The admission process at Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning is given below.
Step 1 – Purchasing Application Form
Click on the ‘Sign Up’ option and register on the SCDL Apply Online Portal. After receiving the credentials, and e-prospectus, you can purchase the application form. For applicants of General/Defence category, the price is Rs. 1,200 and for International/SAARC category the price is Rs. 8,400 or 100 USD.
Step 2 – Registration
Uploading photo, Govt ID Proof, academic documents, signature and work experience certificates. Candidates from defence/international/SAARC should submit the relevant document for proof. International students should submit the equivalence certificate approved by Association of Indian Universities.
Step 3 – Fee Payment
Completing the payment from student login ID. If the payment is through demand draft, it should be in favour of “The Director SCDL, Pune” payable at Pune. Exam fee is not included in the program fees. Students have to pay it separately and it will be non-refundable or non-transferable.
Step 4 – International and SAARC Admissions
Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning conducts computer-based exams. They can be arranged ‘On Demand’ according to the students’ availability. The ‘On Demand’ computer-based assessment allows students to arrange their exams according to their convenience. Exams are proctored electronically. The results will be available 15 days following the exam.
Students will also be given assignments that will evaluate and measure their development and skills. They will be computer-based and should be submitted using your student ID. Students will be required to complete projects, research projects, practicals, case studies, and submissions in accordance with the syllabus of the topics.
