Bharati Viduapeeth is a deemed university in Pune, Maharashtra, established by Dr. Patangrao Kadam in 1964. The university’s mission is to intellectually awaken individuals through education and to prepare human resources for the nation, particularly for economic development. Bharati Vidyapeeth is a university dedicated to societal betterment. The university established its School of Distance Education (SDE) in 2004-05 to provide students with flexible learning options and help them build a successful career. The online application for Bharati Vidyapeeth distance education courses is available on the official website ( distance.bharatividyapeeth.edu ). Candidate can choose any study centre among New Delhi, Kolhapur, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Sangli, Karad, and Solapur.
The candidate will be admitted after verification of all eligibility requirements. The candidate will be asked submit the following documents for admission verification.
Documents accepted are passport, election card, PAN card, birth certificate, and driving license.

The examination pattern of the university changes by the type of programs. For the non professional programs, there will be yearly examinations. And for the professional examinations, there will be semester end examinations. The examinations are conducted twice in an year. The weightage is divided for assignments, tutorials and project.
