Maharshi Dayanand University is located in the heart of Rohtak, Haryana. Bachelor’s in Arts
MDU distance offers BA program for students interested in arts, sociology, history, philosophy, English, regional languages etc. With a diverse background of education, students just need enthusiasm and interest to know about the subject, other things are taken care of by the curriculum and the faculties.
A three year program in BCom offers wide range of finance subjects like accounting, corporate finance etc. Total of 6 semester starts as a 12th pass out student with enthusiasm towards finance and accounting and end as a total understanding of finance fostering future prospects as a master in commerce or MBA.
Two year specialization in arts provides a better understanding of History, political science, philosophy, mass communication, English altogether and also gives a starting point at becoming a teacher or pursue research in arts. A total of 4 semester are there and In which 2 semesters will be of deeper understanding of generally all the subjects and then whichever subjects the student chooses in the final two semester that will be the actual specialization.
Two year specialization in MCom offers a deep knowledge of finance, accounting and management in Finance sector. A total of 4 semester will consist of starting with whatever understanding of commerce in Bcom and will build upon it to a certain level which will make the enthusiast students peruse corporate finance, fintech companies or for that matter research.

A two year master degree program in science offers a unbeatable knowledge in subjects like mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, microbiology etc. Student can choose the specialization after 2 semesters to get an even deeper understanding of the preferred subjects.

MDU distance offers a MJMC program for well-spoken students who has a firm grip on English, communication and confidence. Journalism and mass communication takes a lot not just in studies but also in daily work stress, as we know the amount of rigorous stress journalist goes through, this course especially teaches these things, also this offers a diverse range of subjects like photojournalism, history of journalism, communication, English, videography and editing, editing software etc.
At MDU Distance Education, the MLIS program is tailored for those passionate about managing information effectively.   • Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have completed 10+2/Diploma in Pharma/Three Year Professional Diploma Programs/Two Years Diploma Courses from Haryana State. English should be one of the subjects with at least 33% marks in aggregate

  • Eligibility Criteria: A bachelor’s degree in the concerned field with 45% marks in aggregate.

  • Eligibility Criteria: A bachelor’s degree in BCom / BBA / BTM / BIM / BA / BSc with economics or mathematics and 45% marks.

MDU Distance Education Admission Process

MDU Distance provides admission in UG and PG on basis of the last examination and the steps of admission are –

The whole process is online so students need to go to the official website of MDU.
  • Step 1 is to register as a new user, by using email and generating a username and valid password, which should be saved by the student however both are recoverable with the gmail.
  • Step 2 is to fill up the form with required information.
  • Step 3 is to upload the required documents like photograph, signature and thumb impressions.
  • Step 4 is to submit the application form and pay through E challan mode at any Punjab National Bank or Axis bank
  • Step 5 is to print out all the form and challan with required documents.

MDU Distance Education Examination Pattern

The examination process will be online with camera’s and microphone should be online all the time if this is violated the examination will be cancelled, this may result in revoking the offer too. Artificial intelligence will be always track face and understand if the student it cheating.

For Bachelor’s program there will be total of 6 semesters and for Post Graduation will be 4 semesters.
