Students who successfully complete all degree requirements and graduate from the University of Mysore in Karnataka, India, are awarded a Mysore University Degree Certificate. A student’s certificate is a testament to their accomplishment and proof that they completed all of the required courses at Mysore University.
This degree certificate typically contains only the basic information, e.g. name of a student, degree conferred upon a student, discipline taken and date of completion. It is attached to almost professional and academic processes experienced by the recipient as the proof of his/her educational qualifications.
In Karnataka the University of Mysore has taken a different approach on how to issue degree certificates, they are now issued through DigiLocker mobile application. That was among the measures implemented to support the Digital India initiative rolled out by the central government. Students who graduated under University of Mysore will now be getting their UoM Digital degree certificates only online on their mobile devices. Hence they can use a digital certificate anytime it is needed without any worry about misplacing the original document.
