Manonmaniam Sundaranar University is a government university in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu established in the year 1990. The university is named after the Tamil Professor/Scholar Manonmaniam Sundaranar Pillai. The university works with 24 departments which includes courses from arts, science, engineering, etc. MS University has 61 affiliated colleges and other different educational institutes situated in various locations like Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Tenkasi, and many more.
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has accredited Manonmaniam Sundaranar University with an “A” grade status. The university is also approved by the University Grants Commission and the Distance Education Bureau.

Step 1: Students are instructed to visit the website and to check the admission requirements.
Step 2: Filling out the application form. Students should add the personal details, academic details, and details of the course of joining.
Step 3: After filling the application, students have to print the form and send it to the address – Directorate of Distance and Continuing Education, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University.
Step 4: Delivery of login credentials. Students can login and pay the fees
The evaluation will consist of internal assessments and end term examinations. Internal assessments will have 20-30% weightage and endterm exam will have 70-80% weightage.
Internal assessments will include quiz, assignments, projects, seminars and online tests and endterm examinations will include MCQs, short answer questions, descriptive questions and case studies.
There will be changes in the evaluation criteria according to different courses.
